The Donkey Dairy
Overview
The Donkey Dairy began in 2012 after founder Jesse Christelis rescued two donkey foals. The farm now combines donkey care and dairying with visitor experiences and a retail range that includes donkey-milk and skincare products.
Farm visits include animal interactions, donkey-milk tasting, baby-goat feeding, hiking and a farm shop. Visits are offered on weekends and public holidays and require booking; the exact access pin is provided after confirmation.
The official accommodation page describes solar-powered self-catering farm cottages with Wi-Fi, private braai areas, hiking trails, covered parking and animal encounters. The principal cottage sleeps two adults and two children and includes a private pool.
