What is Magalies Rocks the Cradle?

Magalies Rocks the Cradle is a festival held annually on the last full weekend of August. It is unique in that it does not have a central event area.

Instead MRtC has been designed to highlight the attractions of the Magalies region as a tourist area with events occuring at various businesses in the area.
Tickets are available for the individual events listed here and on the MRtC Facebook Page, many of the events are free.

(Ticket links are shown on the event where applicable)

Come and celebrate the diversity of the Magalies region with us.
We offer a peek into 2.5 billion years of history as well as a 72 hour journey of discovery.

Experience inspiring cultures, cuisine, outdoor events, entertainment, crafts, must attend tours and workshops, art, wine, craft beer making, fauna, flora, photography, MRtC caters for all age groups and interests.
